We are two average women working in an upscale Manhattan/Miami style lounge in Northern New Jersey. There are so many new products coming out that we are always coming up with new martinis to showcase them.  We had so many new martinis but we couldn’t keep changing the menu.  We decided to make a Bartender’s Daily Special to let the customers always have something different to choose from.  After awhile we had so many recipes we thought “Wouldn’t it be great to write a martini recipe book?” Since the name of the bar is 381Main we decided we would make 381 recipes.  (The research was the best part)  We tested all the recipes and had some of our customers be guinea pigs. Thanks Ray! Some were close to brilliance and some…not so much.  After about six months we had 381 fantastic, book worthy recipes.  ALL ORIGINAL.  You won’t find your average Appletini in here, but you will find some fabulous variations.  You definately won’t find any recipes that call for egg whites. (We just don’t get it) You will also find bar humor, party planning tips, bartender tips and tricks, and  tips for tips.  All the recipes are broken down into parts for any size drink.  We hope you enjoy our cocktails and we love to hear from fellow bartenders.  If you have a favorite recipe send it to us.. you might find it in our next book.  If you have a funny bartending story visit our Bartender’s Blog.  Cheers!
